Paraplex

Kinetic type generator

Type a few words and choose how they move: they come in, rest and go, as a loop that starts and ends on an empty frame. Over a color, a moving gradient, or nothing at all for an overlay — free, no watermark, no account.

How to make it

  1. Type up to three short lines — a title, a hook, a quote.
  2. Choose a style, a face and how fast it moves; set how long the words rest before they go.
  3. Put them over a color, one of the moving gradients, or nothing, so the file is see-through.
  4. Download the MP4 loop, a PNG of the words at rest, or a transparent WebM to lay over your own video. Or open it in Paraplex to add more: a second line on cue, a 3D logo, a camera move.

Ten styles

Rise
each word rises in, soft and dim to sharp, and lifts away.
Roll
each line rolls up into view from behind a mask and out through the top.
Blur
each word comes into focus, then softens away.
Flip
each letter turns down into place and over and away.
Stomp
each word lands from large, hard, and blurs away.
Type
typed letter by letter behind a cursor, then backspaced.
Decode
each letter scrambles through other glyphs before it settles.
Scatter
the letters fly in from all over and blow away as dust.
Tracking
the letters close in from wide spacing, then bunch together and go.
Slant
each word leans in, turned and sheared, and leans away.

Questions

Does it loop?

Yes. Each piece starts and ends on the empty frame, and each style leaves the way it came in — a rise lifts away, a roll goes on up — so played on repeat it never jumps or runs backward.

Is it free?

Yes. The generator and its downloads are free, without a watermark or an account. Paraplex's free plan includes the editor the Open in Paraplex button takes you to.

Can I use the text over my own video?

Choose None for the background and download the transparent WebM: it keeps only the words. Browsers play its transparency; before relying on it in a video editor, check that the editor reads transparency in WebM.

What sizes does it export?

16:9, square, 4:5 and 9:16. The video is the frame's own size; a PNG is twice it (3840 × 2160 for 16:9), the words at rest.

Which fonts can I use?

Inter, Instrument Serif, Anton, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono here; in Paraplex, more faces and your own font files.
