CSV to chart video
Paste rows from a spreadsheet or drop a CSV file, and the chart builds itself — bars growing, a line drawing on, wedges sweeping open — under a title, ready for a post, a deck or a report. Free, no watermark, no account.
How to make it
- Paste your data with a header row — straight from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, or as CSV — or drop a .csv file on the box.
- Choose the kind of chart; the first text column becomes the labels and the number columns the values.
- Add a title and a source line, pick a dark, light or see-through ground and a palette, and set how fast it builds and how long it holds.
- Download the MP4, a PNG of the finished chart, or a transparent WebM to lay over footage. Or open it in Paraplex and keep going: restyle any bar or label, add a camera move or music.
The charts
- Bar
- one bar per row; several number columns become series side by side.
- Line
- one line per number column, drawing itself on.
- Area
- a line with the ground under it filled, rising from the baseline.
- Pie and donut
- one wedge per row, sweeping open, from the first number column.
- Scatter
- a dot per row at two number columns; a third sets its size.
Questions
What data does it take?
A header row and up to 60 rows, separated by commas or tabs. Numbers can carry thousands separators, a currency sign or a percent sign.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The chart is drawn and the video made in your browser; nothing you paste leaves your computer.
Is it free?
Yes. The generator and its downloads are free, without a watermark or an account. Paraplex's free plan includes the editor the Open in Paraplex button takes you to.
What sizes does it export?
16:9 for slides and video, square and 4:5 for posts, 9:16 for stories and reels. A PNG is twice the frame, the chart finished.
Can I change the chart afterwards?
Open it in Paraplex: each bar, line and label is a layer of its own, to restyle, move or retime.
